Free consultation
Unless other arrangements are made the first session is about
30 minutes long and is a free consultation to see whether this is a
good fit for doing the work you want to do.
Fees
Most sessions are about 55 minutes long and I charge $175.
However, there is a sliding scale down to $105. What you can afford
is negotiated between us but is mostly up to you.
Payment
Unless other arrangements are made in advance, payment is
due at the end of the session. Payment may be in cash,
personal cheque or Interac e-transfer.
If you have third party or extended health care insurance and MSW
Social Workers or Registered Social Workers are covered under
counselling, you may be eligible for partial reimbursement.
Cancelling/Changing Appointments
Cancelling or changing the time and date of an appointment is
not a problem as long as you notify me 24 hours before the
scheduled session. If 24 hour notice is not given it will count as a
missed appointment and will be billed at the same rate as your
usual appointments.
